Al settimo giorno Dio creo` Glebe, e disse:- d'ora in poi, ho creato questo posto per tutta l'umanita`- ma specialmente backpackers, viaggiatori e nomadi!!! Godete nella Gloria che e` Glebe e state alla cosa piu` vicina al paradiso terrestre (a Sydney).
Questo ostello e` rilassato e comodo, con staff/impiegati amichevoli che vogliono assicurare che la vostra permanenza sia ancora piu` piacevole. E` locato nel quartiere vivace di Glebe, famoso per i suoi bar, pub, e ristoranti di qualita`. Darling Harbour e la` citta` sona ad una passeggiata di distanza, rendendo l'ostello una buona base da cui esplorare la` citta`, ma allo stesso tempo rimanendo lontani dal casino e rumore del centro.
Il grande tetto ha delle belle vedute della citta`, la sezione BBQ ed il soggiorno solare sono ideali per conoscere altra gente che viaggia. Potete divertirvi nella stanza TV, con una granze selezione di DVD, o nella sala giochi, che include un tavolo di biliardo. La cucina e` completa, e potete rimanere in contatto con il mondo usando l'Internet Café a velocita` superiore. Ci sono anche bacheche per chi cerca lavoro, o machine usate con cui girare l'Australia.
Alla reception potete ricevere parecchie informazioni su gite di giornata e cosa fare e vedere a Sydney. Basta chiedere allo staff, che sara` disposto di aiutarvi a scegliere e prenotare l'attivita` adatta a voi! Perfetto se siete qui` con visto di vacanza e lavoro, o se volete esplorare Sydney e le sue bellezze.

One of the better YHAs as far as atmosphere goes. It's not huge like the sydney central one, so it's a little more personal. I wouldn't go back here but that's only because I would go to the Palms in Kings cross. It was definitely a nice place though.

By far my favorite hostel in Sydney, I return here every chance I get. The very best part about this hostel is its location in glorious Glebe, a very welcoming and almost bohemian feeling neighbourhood, with the atmosphere of a small village, yet a mere 20 minute walk / 10 minute bus ride (15 in rush hour) away from central station (take bus 431, and ride it to its next to last stop; you'll know you're there when everyone else has gotten off the bus). Glebe Point Road is lined with awesome bakeries, cafes, used bookstores and restaurants, perfect for spending a lazy afternoon.
The hostel itself has a great atmosphere, and features an awesome rooftop terrace with lazy hammocks (only in summer) and frequent barbecues. Its rooms are clean, the kitchen large and decently equipped, and the bathrooms are decent (although only just; they could definitely stand being improved upon). I don't care much for its TV lounge either, but with the rooftop terrace, I've never felt the need to hang out there anyway.Highly recommended.

Bus: 2.5 km to terminal. Bus 431/432/433/434 depart along George Street and Railway Square. Bus 431 and 434 stop at front of YHA.
Train: 2.5 km to station. From Central Station take bus or take light rail to Jubilee park Station, 5 minute walk to YHA.
Plane: 16 km to airport. Airport private shuttle to Central then bus 431/432/433/434 to Glebe or take an airport shuttle to the YHA.
