About Alyna

We are a comfy guesthouse in Kew Gardens (Queens), NY. We are much smaller and friendlier than most hostels in NYC. We have 3 shared bedrooms; with just 4-6 bunk beds in each. We have a fully equipped kitchen, free spices, free tea, and all the cooking utensils you miss from home. We encourage communal activities, and our guesthouse is run like a friendly home rather than an institution. Some of our joint events include sporadic cook-outs, road trips, movie nights, and more. We offer FREE wireless, FREE incoming/outgoing US phone calls, bike rental, fax services and more.
We are close to the subway (E/F), major buses, both LaGuardia & JFK airports. Surrounding neighborhoods are Forest Hills and Flushing.

Our family also includes 2 friendly rescued cats. They are warm and cuddly, but please consider this if you are allergic. Welcome to Alyna's Apartment, enjoy your stay.

ADDRESS: 142-24 Pershing Crescent, Apt. 1, Briarwood(Queens) NY 11435
DIRECTIONS: Take F (E sometimes stops at our station but not always) in Queens direction. F runs 24 hours and it is express, so it should take a few minutes from Manhattan. Get off at Briarwood/ VanWyck station. Follow the crowd out of station. Walk approximately 1.5 blocks to 84 Dr., make left on 84 Dr., walk aprox. 4 blocks and make left on Pershing Crescent. Go to house 142-24 on Pershing Crescent. Ring apartment 1. Do not ring any of our neighbors.
IMPORTANT INFO:
If you arrive outside of normal check-in hours, and staff is on break, please enter the house with the following codes:
OUTSIDE DOOR: DO NOT RING OUR NEIGHBORS. Only ring house 142-24 on Pershing Crescent, apartment 1. If no one answers apt. 1, you can open the combination lock with the code 8089.
APARTMENT DOOR: Apartment 1 is on ground floor (please do not go up the stairs to our neighbors, and please do not disturb our neighbors). The doorknob of apartment 1 has the combination 0309. For your safety and ours, please do not give this code to neighbors or strangers. If you make a mistake when entering the number, press "Schlage" button and re-enter entire combination. Feel free to leave your luggage in the house, and leave a note that you have arrived, with a telephone to call you (if you have a cell) if you want to leave for the town before staff arrives.

The registering person will call you when he/she arrives. There is no curfew. Please note that combination numbers change periodically for our security. Call or text 1.301.433.1134 (Mendy) or 1.617.331.4929 if you cannot enter or if you need to reach us for any reason.
