Located just 25 minutes from Times Square by NYC subway. Close to midtown New York yet worlds apart. Staying in our Spanish speaking neighborhood can become an attraction of its own. We are the greenest neighborhood of the 5 boroughs that comprises New York City. Enjoy a walk at the Highbridge park and recreation center, get a close-up of the oldest bridge ever built in Manhattan ' High Bridge' . Walk a brisk 25 minutes to America's most beautiful Park ' Fort Tyron Park' for a little adventurous round of snowboarding or cross country skiing in winter or enjoy a casual dinner at the New leaf cafe and open air terrace or join our Japanese friends to watch Hideki Matsui at the Yankee baseball stadium 1.3 miles away. Driving over the George Washington Bridge (minutes away) for a 13.2 mile ride reach the Fahnestock State Park for a day of hiking. Convenient Indoor parking is available in the next street. Located just 5 blocks away is the Columbia University medical center and colleges.

Directions

Our subway stop is 168th street on the "1" - local or 'A" express line.
20 minutes from 42nd street Port Authority/Times Square subway and bus terminal.

From JFK airport:

Take the Air Train to Howard Beach/159th Avenue, a 12 minute ride. Transfer to "A" express going towards Inwood-207 Street /Broadway. Be in the front compartment of the subway. Get off at 168th street stop. Climb one flight up and take the exit marked 169th street and St. Nicholas Avenue. Exit and keep walking on St.Nicholas avenue straight, take a right on 173rd street. After 2 minutes you will see a gated town house marked 556 West – Highbridge House. Travel cost per person from JFK to Howard Beach station via Air Train is $5. You pay additional $2.00 for the subway.

From Newark airport:

Take the NJ Transit from the airport train terminal to 34th street Penn station, transfer to the "A" express going to Inwood-207 Street /Broadway. Be in the front compartment of the subway. Get off at 168th street stop. Climb one flight up and take the exit marked 169th street and St. Nicholas Avenue. Exit and keep walking on St.Nicholas avenue straight, take a right on 173rd street. After 2 minutes you will see a gated town house marked 556 West – Highbridge House.

From La Guardia airport:

Take the Bus M60 from La Guardia airport to 125th street. Transfer free with metrocard to the "A" express going to Inwood-207 Street /Broadway. Be in the front compartment of the subway. Get off at 168th street stop. Climb one flight up and take the exit marked 169th street and St. Nicholas Avenue. Exit and keep walking on St.Nicholas avenue straight, take a right on 173rd street. After 2 minutes you will see a gated town house marked 556 West – Highbridge House.

By Taxi approximate rate is $30. ( subject to change ). 30 minute ride

Parking is available at Kinney Parking Systems on St. Nicholas Avenue (Between 165th and 166th Streets).Indoor parking is also available on 174th street between St.Nicholas and Audobon avenue. Cost average $10- $15 per day. Street side parking is free.
