About Hotel Continental Barcelona

The Hotel Continental Barcelona is a small hotel located in the most central and emblematic area of Barcelona, on the famous Ramblas street.

The hotel tradition in our family dates back to 1898. We have two establishments at present: the Hotel Continental Palacete, with a distinguished air and salons in the purest Louis VX style located in the cosmopolitan Eixample area of Barcelona, and the cosy Hotel Continental Barcelona in a semi-classical English style, which is currently being refurbished and extended.

These are not luxury hotels but our aim is to ensure that guests feel right at home in a warm, friendly atmosphere. To achieve this, one of our most highly valued services is the snack buffet, where guests can eat and drink, free of charge, at any time of the day or night, 24 hours a day. A very special and unique service.

All the rooms come with a fully equipped bathroom with hairdryer, air conditioning and heating, free WIFI and Internet access, satellite television, safe, telephone, fridge, microwave and iron.

Directions

The Hotel Continental Barcelona is located in La Rambla 138, at the top of Las Ramblas, near Catalunya Square. The closest Metro Station is Catalunya (lines 1 and 3) and the train station is Plaza de Catalunya, where the trains coming from the airport stop.

It is also very close to the Aerobus bus stop (the Aerobus is a shuttle bus between the airport and Plaza de Catalunya).

Aerobus route: Airport - Pl. d'Espanya - Urgell - Pl.Universitat - Pl. Catalunya. | Time: Monday- Friday 6am to 12am. Saturday and public holidays 6.30pm. - 12am.
Fare: 3.45€ one-way / 5.90€ return (valid for one week) | Frequency: every 12 minutes
15% discount with the Barcelona Card.

By taxi from the airport it will take you 25 minutes and cost approximately 25 euros (Amount shown at the meter + Airport extra charge + luggage)
