Welcome to the famous Albareda Hostel, located in the heart of Barcelona, the most exciting city in Europe. This is a big cosy house, full of young travellers from around the world, and run by experienced, informal and friendly international staff and with a great social atmosphere.

I travelled for 30 days around Europe and this was the best hostel I stayed. Very clean (they cleaned every day even inside the rooms), good breakfast, good common room, laundry, good location, and the staff is very kind and helpfull.

Around us, are the best places to go out, with all the hippest and coolest Bars, Clubs & Restaurants ,literally a stones throw away.

We have 24-Hour Reception (No Lockout, No Curfew), so you can come and go as you please. You can hang out in our big Lounge, where you can meet people, make friends, chat, relax, watch a movie, play guitar or even have a game of chess. Directions
From Airport
..either with the bus (Airbus A1):
Take the bus up to the Plaza Espanya (it's the first stop), then take the subway in Plaza España, line green 3, towards Canyelles, disembark at ' Paral.lel ' (the second stop) exit 'Avenue Paral.lel ' (just at the door of the Apollo theater to your right side, walking straight on, passing 2 blocks until you arrive at the petrol station UBACH, then turn right and take the first street on the left, number 12.

..or with the train:
Take the train to the 'Sants' station or to the 'Catalunya' station, then take the subway green line, line 3 up to the station 'Paral.lel' and continue as mentioned above. We have a yellow sign at the door with the name of the hostel. Please do not call any othe door of the neighbourhood.
